Lake Minnewanka offers several day-use parking areas, but they can fill up quickly, especially during peak summer months. The main parking lot near the boat launch provides convenient access to the lake, picnic areas, and hiking trails. Additional overflow parking is available along the roadside and in designated lots further from the shore. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early or use the Roam Transit Route 6 from Banff to avoid parking congestion. Accessible parking spots are available near the main lot for those with mobility needs.
